Picos Caving Harness
This harness has two major advantages: a very low point with the link to the maillon and a very wide seat surface, it is the most comfortable harness of all caving harnesses on the market, with its 44 mm strap. To avoid any discomfort, it must be carefully adjusted.

- Accessory holder (4): 3 fixed, in mixed dyneema/polyamide tape with safety seams, 1 mobile with polyethylene loop
- Protections : removable reinforced tubular PVC, around the thighs and under the buttock

The Picos gets 4 stars because it is a very well made harness, but it is heavier and bulkier than most other caving style harnesses. On my 6’4” 200# frame I couldn’t find an adjustment where the top edge of the waist strap didn’t cant inward and dig into my hips. I really wanted to love this harness, but ultimately returned it. On the positive side Elevated’s customer service was excellent!

Great Harness
This harness is super comfortable and I would definitely recommend it.
Comfortable harness
I purchased this harness specifically for the seat strap feature and it is exactly what I needed. I have it adjusted so that approximately half my body weight is on the seat strap which makes the legs and waist straps much more comfortable. I’ve used it on four cave trips and two canyons and I’m quite happy with it. The only downside is it is a heavy setup but for me the in harness comfort is a fair trade.
